How to Use the Random Choice Generator

The Random Choice Generator helps you make fair, fun decisions with a spinning wheel. Add your own options or start from a ready-made template, then let the wheel pick for you — great for teams, classrooms, parties, and everyday “can’t decide” moments.

Step-by-step

  1. Pick a template (optional): Open Ideas and choose a preset such as Yes or No, Weekend Plans, Cuisines, or Coffee Shop Order. You can edit every option afterward.
  2. Name your decision: Enter a title in “What are you randomly choosing?” so everyone knows what the wheel is for.
  3. Add your choices: Type one option per line in the choices box (minimum 2, up to 50). Use Undo and Redo if you change your mind.
  4. Build the wheel: Click Go! to create your wheel. Fix any errors if you have fewer than two choices.
  5. Spin: Press Spin Wheel. The wheel spins for about five seconds with sound (use Mute to turn sound off). When it stops, you’ll see confetti, the winning choice, and a new entry in Results.
  6. Share or replay: Copy the share link to send your exact wheel to friends, or spin again for another random pick. Reset Results to clear the history.

Perfect for

  • Yes/No decisions and quick polls
  • Choosing what to eat, watch, or do this weekend
  • Classroom picks, team assignments, and party games
  • Raffles, giveaways, and “who goes first” moments
  • Any custom list you want to randomize fairly

Every spin is random and independent. The wheel uses only the choices you enter — nothing is stored on our servers unless you share a link, which encodes your title and options in the URL.
